This additional training will be helpful in more adequately documenting the results of implemented programs. It will also help identify potential areas in need of improvement to foster continual fit and success within the community.

COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD

Florelle's ‘Ohana has a wonderful community advisory board with a diverse blend of community members such as parents, teachers, counselors, government and community agencies, physicians and mental health practitioners. This board will guide integration of evidence-based practices with the community perspectives to create and implement a prevention program that will be culturally appropriate and effective in empowering Kauai youth to make healthy life choices.
